I don’t feel like I’m on good terms with God and I’m extremely upset about it.
I know some of the things I do are wrong (cutting, starving, cussing, going out with someone i know i shouldn’t be dating, LYING)
I do it anyway
Why? Why is it so hard for me to do good? Why is it so hard to talk about Jesus in a public place? Why am I such a hypocrite….
Go find someone sitting by themselves at lunch and talk to them. If it allows, find out if they are a Christian. IF they’re not, try and share the Gospel.
God please grant me the courage to approach someone! I don’t want my shyness to get in the way! If there is anyone specific You want me to talk to, let me know. I can do it. Anything for You <3
Suppose God says to your church, “Take the gospel to the whole world!” and the group says, “We can’t.” TRUTH stands in the middle of that church to say, “Believe ME. I will never give you an order that I will not Myself release MY power to enable it to happen. Trust ME and obey ME, and it will happen.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
- 1 Corinthians 2:10-12
Our problem is that we pray and then never relate anything that happens to our praying. After you pray, the greatest single thing you need to do is turn on your spiritual concentration. When you pray in a direction, immediately anticipate the activity of God in answer to your prayer. I find that all the way hrough the Scripture - When God’s people prayed, He answered.
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
- Philippians 3:13-14
God did not create you for time; He created you for eternirt. Time (your lifetime on earth) provides the opportunity to get acquainted with Him. It is an opportunity for Him to develop your character in His likeness.
If you just live for time (the here and now), you will miss the ultimate purpose of creation. If you live for time, you will allow your past to mold and shape your life today. Your life as a child of God ought to be shaped by the future (what you will be one day). God uses your present time to mold and shape your future usefulness here on earth and in eternity.
Like a rose
trampled on the ground,
you took the fall,
and thought of me
